There is not a set month that wild jack rabbits give birth. They are able to give birth at any time of the year. Note that baby jack rabbits can die from fatal diarrhea from human contact.

Jack Rabbits, or hares, can mate and give birth at any point during the year. The gestation period for a hare is one and a half months. Because they are not actual rabbits, (their name is a misnomer,) they don't follow a lot of the tendencies of the rabbit species. For instance, they will not nest before birthing.

Jackrabbits are extremely prolific, and they can have up to 4 litters of babies every year. There is no specific month when they have their young, instead, they are born all throughout the spring, summer, and fall.
