I need help putting a new cassette and a new chain on a couple of bikes. Can you help?

A bike chain is easy to install on your bike. You can remove the old chain from around the gears as you slip the new on into place. You then need to sit on the bike and pedal the gears forward, this secures the chain on the gears and strengthens them.

You will need to decide what you have before proceedings. Different chains and different cassettes require different processes. Park Tools has everything you will need to do the job once you know what you have. I recommend using a SRAM chain as the speed link make it easier to install. SRAM cassettes are durable too!

Remove all of the old parts. Cassette and chain. You will want to replace the parts from the place you got them. The only tricky part will be getting the chain on tight enough.
