I have developed a rash after being bitten by a mosquito, could I have a disease?

Mosquito bites can cause a number of different diseases, some of which include rashes. However, it is more likely to be either an allergic reaction or the result of scratching.

I really do not think that you would have the west nile from a mosquito. It is very rare that you would get that. I suggest taking benadryl first and putting a anti-itch cream on the rash. If that does not work then maybe you should call your doctor and have the rash looked at.
