How would I do an electrical wiring of a 3-way switch?

The power supply neutral is connected directly to bulb using white wire. The hot(black)wire from power supply is connected to common screw in switch1. The 'travelers' (red and black) connect both the switches at terminals 1 and 2 respectively. The black wire is connected from switch2 common terminal to bulb.

3 - way switch wiring is most common in residents. bring of the power supply on one of the switch box where one neutral and one hot line on 14/3 wire is taken. from there the white (neutral) white wire f 14/2 wire is connected to it.

You will have two wires that are travelers and one wire that is the hot or point screw. You put the point screw on the black screw on the switch and the travelers on the other wires. There are numberous ways to do this though.
