Most men will look at you more than once if interested, or try to establish eye contact. Telling a joke to you means he's trying to make you laugh, meaning interest. Try subtle contact if talking to him and see how he responds, you'll know if he likes you.

He would pay you a lot of attention and go out of his way to make time to hang out with you. He would do nice things, such as pay for dinner or compliment how you look.

The more confident ones will let you know by moving things ahead. This could be by asking you out, taking your hand on the dance floor, etc. The less confident ones... well do you really want those men?

If a man is being nice chances are he is interested. Watch to see if he laughs at something you say that isn't that funny.
