Usually it depends on how severe it is in order to know how long it will take to show up in your blood work. Ask your doctor and get your blood work tested regulary and keep up with your doctor appointments. You should know something within six weeks of your blood work.

First you need to have your doctor order the blood tests. The results will be available in 6 weeks. It will depend on how severe it is as to when it will show in the blood test. Keep getting the blood work done from time to time.

It really depends on how severe it is. You need to be tested regularly and you should have results in less then six weeks. If you have it really bad then it will show sooner.

Scleroderma will not show up in routine blood work done in the hospital or a doctor's office. Routine blood work usually includes a (CBC)which checks (%)of red cells, white cells, and platelets. Blood work for scleroderma is only done when a patient presents with symptoms of scleroderma. An ANA test specific for scleroderma usually takes 2 to 4 days.

Skin and many parts of the body will be affected by Scleroderm. Internal organs like the lung, kidney, heart, may also be affected. The presence of auto antibodies like the antinuclear antibody can be deducted through blood test. The skin may look shiny, and patches of the skin may become darker.
