There's a bun in the oven! So, couples come on over and bring your favorite dish so we can help keep this couple's little bun warm when it's fresh out of the oven with special gifts designed espcially for a tiny tot while enjoying some good food and lasting friendship!

You're invited to a potluck that is being held to congratulate my sister and her husband on the new addition to their family! Please bring a dish to share and your appetite for some great food! We're looking forward to having you there to celebrate this special occasion with us!

If it was me I would word it "Baby shower and potluck" I would let guest know that they can bring any home made or store bought items with. The could all R.S.V.P. and let me know what everyone is bringing or what is needed. This is a good idea my wife is pregnant and I like this idea.

In order to word an invitation to a potluck baby shower, it is probably wise to "cut to the chase". People often only have a second or two to read invitations. Word the invitation like such: "POTLUCK SHOWER!!"
