If this co-worker is not your superior, then consult your superior. If this person IS your superior, either consult their superior or tell them how you feel, politely.

Every time he or she gives you an "order," politely say "thanks for the suggestion," but I'm doing something else right now," and then go about your duties.

Just be polite and even if they treat you badly, learn how to ignore them and only listen to the commands from your boss.

Well if the person is NOT your boss and you do not have to do what they say, then I would ignore them or mention their behaviour to your supervisor.

I have had some bossy coworkers and the best way for me would be try to keep nice with them and at the same time ignore them, it'll help.
