Follow instructions on your fiberglass repair kit EXACTLY. Prepare area to be repaired by sanding an thoroughly cleaning the area. Mix resin with hardener and any filler material if desired/required. Coat area with resin, lay repair cloth on top. Brush on more resin to thoroughly saturate the cloth. Squeegee out any excess resin and air.

Cut a small piece of fiberglass fabric about one inch bigger than the hole. Brush epoxy around edge of hole. Place fabric over hole and, using a small brush, brush epoxy over applied fabric. Make sure fabric is completely covered. Smooth edges and let dry.

What I use is aproxy putty. It works every time. You apply it in the whole and flatten it to be in between the 2 sides and then reinforce withmore.
