Go to an auto part store they have a cleaning agent that will clean it. if that doesn't work use a pressure washer that should do that trick.

Empty the old fuel from the tank. Flush out the tank with Berryman's B-12 being careful not to get any on outside paint. Also flush the fuel lines.

Remove tank from the motorcycle. Pour out the old gas. Pour in a cup of muriatic acid and let sit for five minutes. Pour out contents, rinse and let dry.

You have to completely empty the fuel out of the tank and go to a motorcycle shop to get the proper cleaner to run through it. After that you can put new fuel in.

Well you can clean it by just wiping off the gummed up tank with a spray. Otherwise you can just replace it.

I've never tried this myself, because I don't have one, but I heard that a high powered pressure washer would work.
