How do I fix a toilet that backs up, into the tub too, when I flush the toilet or run the washer?
How much should I expect to pay to have a prototype made for my invention?
What could be the problem if my toilet won't completely flush?
What kind of bleeding should I expect after a D&C terminated pregnancy?
What kind of incision can I expect from an appendix removal?
What should I expect to pay for a top-loading washing machine?
Where can I get a Kohler toilet valve?
I am not handy and need to hire someone.
This is a fairly simple thing to fix. It will take a plumber about 15 minutes to replace it. So you should probably pay between 30-50 dollars or so.
You can expect to pay between $50 and $80, plus parts. Handy or not, replacing the valve is simple and easy, and a whole lot cheaper.
In my history of plumbing, I would offer this service as a complete toilet rebuild, which could run as much as a new entry level toilet.
I have never had to have the toilet flush valve replaced, but I suppose that I would have to pay somewhere between 200 and 300 dollars for the valve and labor.
