I don't know what you mean across the country but from New York to Seattle is 2853 miles driving. If you get about 20 miles/ gallon, that would be 143 gallons. At about $2. 50 a gallon, you're looking at about $350.

It depends on the gas mileage that your car gets and how far that you are going to be driving. If you go onto the internet you can find several places such as Mapquest, that actually have gas calculators based on the path that you are going to be driving on.

From state to state , it usually costs $50 one way. Across the country, it should cost around $600. From Indiana state to Buffalo, we spend $45 which is one-eighth of the distance.

Depending on the type of car that you have and the gas mileage and the current gas prices in various states you are looking at around 500. 00 dollars. This is also dependent on the type of route and where you are starting from as well in which you will have a lower cost.
