It really depends on where you are trying to start it. The initial costs are going to include the costs for all of the equipment, the costs for the building and the costs for any insurance you will need to carry. In most cases the building will cost the most depending on if you rent or buy.

This depends mostly on the amount of chairs you want in your facility. IF you are in small town you can usually rent a space and upgrade with sinks and equipment for somewhere between $10-20000 for a one or 2 chair establishment. Remember that each state regulates these facilities.
