How much income does the U.S. President make?

Answer by  Binome (1975)

Currently, the presidential salary is $400,000/year along with a $50,000 annual expense account, a $100,000 travel account and $19,000 for entertainment expenses. There's also a pension which is currently $191,300.

The US president has a salary of $200,000 a year and can not exceed this amount. The privilege and job benefits far outweigh the salary figure and presidents tend to like that. Going over $200,000 could seem as though the president is only in it for the money and could be a bad thing.
