While the laptop is plugged in to the power source, turned on, screen maximum brightness and using wifi connectivity a laptop will generally use about 125 watts of power. While not plugged in it will use about 75 watts of power. Turning the screen to minimum brightness and not using wifi when it's unneeded you will use around 68 watts.
