NFL Referees make around $40,000-$130,000 per season based on how long they have been refereeing. The newly hired refs don't make nearly as much as refs that have already established themselves in the league for a while. New refs get around $1,400 per game and old ones get around $4,300.

NFL referees make between $25,000 and $70,000 per season, depending on their experience. NFL referees have to complete a professional coaching course and constantly stay up to date on all rule changes. The most important training they get is through refereeing at lower levels to gain years of experience.
