How many songs a mp3 player can hold depends mostly on how much memory is on the mp3 player. Some can hold a few hundred, while others can hold thousands.

The capacity of a player can vary greatly. Usually a one gigabyte player holds roughly 240 songs. This will also depend on the size each file is and at what bit rate they were recorded at.

It depends on the capacity of the player and the bitrate of the mp3s. You can roughly store around 250 4-Megabyte songs per Gigabyte.

well an mp3 player can hold lots of songs but just not as much as an ipod or other. it just depends on how much gb your electronics or player systems holds, but then it will be more expensive since it requires more space to use and record the music or whatever
