How many Silver Dollar fish can live in a 50 gallon tank?

If my Silver Dollars are the only fish living in the tank, how many will safely live together?

Up to seven silver dollars will live comfortably in a tank of that size. They will get about 6-7 inches long. Aggression is no problem with this species.

A 50 gallon tank is perfect for Silver Dollar fish. In fact, a 50 gallon tank is the minimum size because Silver Dollar fish are 6 inches in diameter or equivalent to a small saucer. Therefore, 3 to 4 Silver Dollar fish would be an appropriate number to move comfortably.
