Over 6000 Coronation Street episodes has aired, some say exact count is 6,548, while other sources site 7,373 through July 8, 2010. With so many episodes, it's hard to find an exact answer and be certain it is the final word on the subject! In existence since 1960, it's hard to know for certain!

As of January 28, 2010, there have been over 7300 episodes since the series first aired in January of 1960.
