Once the Adult flea fed blood, it can already reproduce and can already lay eggs, they are laid in batches of 20. Eggs are hatched to an estimated period of 2 days up to 2 weeks, after which they will turn into larva, pupa then to an imago, which is the adult flea.

Once the flea egg is dropped it only takes about a week for it to hatch. After it hathches it becomes a larve. During the larve stage the flea will molt like 2-3 times and then it becomes a pupa and then an adult flea.

And egg will usually take about a week to 10 days to hatch once laid. After hatching it becomes the larvae which then require additional time to become a flea.

Well I think they can last a while so get rid of them as fast as you can. Try using raid to get rid of those nasty eggs from your home.

The eggs can hatch within several days to several months. A flea needs blood to survive and will stay dormant within the "egg" until it senses a source of food.
