How hard is it to install lift kits on a Toyota?

Though it's not an easy project, one person can perform this in a weekend. Of course, helpers will always make the job easier and quicker.

It really depends on your mechanical skill level, the type of lift, and the vehicle itself. Body lifts can be don in a weekend by yourself. Suspension lifts, especially on an IFS vehicle, will take longer and may require another person to perform. Straight axle vehicles have a less complicated suspension make a lift install much easier and faster.

It´s not more complicated than installing a lift kit to a us-car... A friend of mine is a real expert for modifing Toyota Truck´s and 4x4cars. You can buy many components but it´s much cooler if you build some of the components by yourself (like bumpers etc.)

It will depend on the type of lift and what model. A small lift on a non-ifs should be pretty easy but could still take two people a weekend.
