Both brands have excellent reviews and doctor's aren't even allowed to make a suggestion! Enfamil would be best to use for normal time delivery babies and Similac is usually used for low birth weight, premature babies. Enfamil also costs loss and may persuade more parents to save money.

Breast is best. After breast milk from the mother the World Health Organization recommends donated breast milk. If that isn't available, then formula. All formulas are made with the same requirements and have no decipherable differences.

Enfamil and Similac are quite nearly the same, content wise. Both have a wide variety of different formulas for different babies. Ask your doctor what formula would be right for yours, he will best be able to decide which you should buy.

All infant formulas must follow federal guidelines for nutrition, so the difference is negligible. Follow your pediatrician's advice on what to feed your baby, but usually it's just a matter of preference. Some babies like the taste of one brand of formula over another.

Though there's a difference between soy, milk based, and Protein hydrolysate formulas, the brand you buy does not matter. All formulas sold in the US must meet the same nutrient standards set by the FDA. Manufacturers may vary in their formula recipes, but all formulas contain the same nutrient density.

both Enfamil and Similac have been around forever. I guess it would depend on what your child preferred best. Good luck.
