You would wire it in the same way you would wire a 110V outlet. Make sure you use thicker wiring to handle the additional current.

You connect the two hot wires to the brass screws. They should be black and red. Connect the white wire to the silver screw and the ground to green screw.

The black and red wires are your hots each carrying 110 volts, the white will be the neutral returning and either a green wire or exposed copper will be ground.

Then there should be three wires red black and green.red are the phase black is the neutral and gree is the earth

what if you have 2 hots and a ground? where does your neutral go hooked-up?
