How do you use a DVD recorder and Stereo VCR with digital tuner to record on channel whle you watch another channel?

I have two shows that come on at the same time and will need to record one and watch the other.

The only way is to split the output of your signal. If you have an antena connection or cable that doesn't require a tuner, then you're set. If you have cable that does require a tuner or dish, you will need the boxes to have two outputs or your're stuck.

You can watch your show on your television and record that show with the DVD recorder. Then since the VCR can tune itself then use it to tape the other show.

It depends on the configuration of your setup. If the DVD is hooked up to the cable before the VCR set that first, then watch and record with the VCR.

You can now purchase a dvd recorder VCR combo that allows you to record one channel and watch another with your VCR.
