Give your dog an Antihistamine, like Benadryl. Soak your dog in cold water. This will help stopping your dog from itching constantly. Oatmeal helps the dog's skin the best. Soothes it more than anything. If your dog has hives in other than one spot.. needs a bath.

Give your dog benadryl to relieve the itching. Also give your dog a nice cold oatmeal bath. If your dog is too big for the oatmeal bath just soak it in cold water for about 10 to 15 minutes. If the hives are in one certain spot you can use an ice pack to help your dog,or see a vet.

Give the dog an antihistamine to help reduce the need to itch, as well as using cold compresses or giving the dog an oatmeal bath to relieve itchiness. If it persists, contact your vet.
