How do you treat heat stroke in rabbits?

Take him to the vet make sure he gets alot of water. But never leave your rabbit just outside when its plus 100 and this will never happen. By placing fans in or around his cage and making sure he always has alot of water around him so it doesnt happen.

The adage goes 'an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure' certainly applies here. Keep your rabbits in a cool, shady location on hot summer days. And be sure to shear your wooled breeds. For heat stroke: apply ice packs and give plenty of fluids (syringe if necessary).
