Antibiotics should be administered to the turtle. You may have to make it eat if need be. Keep living area clean and fresh water at all times. A poor diet, stress, or even the environment can cause the turtle to get sick. Swollen, runny eyes, and runny nose are symptoms.

You must take your pet to a veterinarian who specializes in reptiles and exotics. You cannot treat a serious internal infection like this at home.
