How do you transfer data from a 3.5 floppy to a cd disk?

I have several 3.5 floppies that need to be transferred to the new cd format.

All you need to do is the copy the information from the floppy disk onto your computer. Then you would copy the data that you just put onto your computer directly the to the CD

I would recommend that you use a tool like Winzip or 7zip to put the content of each floppy disk into an archive file. The latter is freeware. Depending on the floppies content you might want to think about a fitting naming scheme upfront. Then use your favorite cd burning software to put all archives on a cd.

The first step is to transfer each of those 3.5 floppy disks to your hard drive and, subsequently, copy all of them (or just a part, however you want) on a cd disk.

Well it is easy but it will take awhile. You will need a pc with a floppy drive and a cd burner. Then just make a folder on the pc and place all your files into it. Just copy every disk to the folder. Then when finished burn this folder or the files themselves to a blank cdr or cdrw.
