To sort coordinates in Excel, left click and drag the selection of coordinates to sort. Right click, move over sort, and then select how you would like to sort the list.
I assume, that you have the coordinates separated in columns. Use now the menue "data, sort" and define to sort by the x column or by the y column.
To sort in Excel, you must select what you want to be sorted. Then, click the SORT AND FILTER button. From here, you can use a preset or customized sort.
