Sending a letter to an elected official should always be done through certified mail. This would enable you to get a green colored receipt notice from the Post Office confirming that the delivery was successful. The state senator's official address is normally listed on the legislature website.

The best way to mail a letter to the state senator is to find out what his email is and write him that way I did and he got it.

This information is generally easily obtained by searching the internet for the mailing address. Each state has a state government web site that should have this information readily available to it's citizens.

Many state senators have their own websites, which allow a letter to be written online. You can also look in the telephone book, often in the blue governmental pages, for the actual office address to send a letter by regular mail.

You would send it like you would send it to anyone else. Look their contact info up on their site or other senate information website. Just expect to hear back for them very soon.
