To change a front oil seal first you must remove the belt(s) from your car. Then remove the crank shaft pulley/dampner. Then pop the seal out with a screwdriver. Tap the new seal in a circular motion so seal moves in evenly. Assemble in reverse order.

Well first you need to know if your car is front wheel are rear wheel drive. A front wheel is much easier to change all you have to do, is have the proper tools and all the part to do the job.A front oil seal is located in front and at the crankshaft and connects to the pulleys.

You are going to need to take the tire off and find out if your seal is attached to the rotor or the axle. If it is the axle you will have to take the nut off and just replace it.

For the front crank seal then the oil pan will have to be dropped. Unbolt and move the pan and crankshaft then install the seal.
