How do you replace an interior stair case?

I am attempting to remodel my home by myself and need to know how to replace my interior stair case without doing damage to the floors.

The only way to replace the stair case is the rip out the new one and put in all new framing and steps. Nail from underneath to avoid floor damage.

Removing an then reinstalling material will result in damage so incorporate that into your plan. Take care at the wall so you don't have a lot of drywall work to do. Cut the stairs away in pieces. When reinstalling, oversize by an inch to cover the old lines.

Some companies produce replacement staircases which can be slotted into standard spaces. The staircase can be prized off the wall and upper and lower floors a piece at a time.
