This is a fairly difficult repair. If you consider yourself a novice I would insist that you contact an automotive expert. You're going to need to open the hood of your vehicle and locate the alternator, It's close / connected to the engine. You'll need a belt that matches your old one. It can be removed by hand.

You need to pull back on the tensioner pulley with a socket wrench to loosen the tension on the belt. Remove it and repeat the step to install new one.

Run it along the pulleys, from the alternator to the bottom of the drive system. You should have no problem.

Disconnect the battery cables. Loosen the power steering pump by turning the tensioner bolt. Remove the engine cover. Loosen the tensioner bolt that got connected to alternator. Remove the alternator belt and replace with new one. Tighten up the alternator mounting bolt with wrench. Put the A/C belt back and tighten the adjustment bolt with socket and attach power-steering belt.
