There are two screws on the inside of the doorknob, Take a screwdriver and remove the screws in the knob and pull them apart, Then take the screws out of the latch and pull the latch out of the hole, Then you can take th screws out of the strike plate and remove if you are replace it too.

The best way to remove the door knob, is to remove the front end of the door knob and then the back end by taking out all of the screws , this will help you remove the door knob easily and quickly without any damage.

To remove this you need two things Phillps-head screwdriver and Bucket. Inside of the door, identify the two screws inside the Schalge door knob. With use of Phillps-head screwdriver two mounting screw and set them in your bucket. opening side of the door, you identify the latch mechanism with two edges. you unscrew the two latch screws.
