How do you remove a headlight from a Ford Focus?

My lights are blown on my Ford Focus and I need to remove the old ones so I can install new ones.

This is a fairly simple fix. Go to the auto store and get the new bulbs. When you open the hood there are ports in the back of the light assembly. Push the clamps in to unlock the assembly and then gently pull out the bulbs from the backside. Replace the bulb and lock the assembly back up.

Unscrew the cap that holds the headlights in place. Pull off the electrical harness attached to the "bulb assembly". Then push the bulb forward then move downward. On the passenger side, remove the one bolt for the water resovoir. Follow instructions as listed above. Installation is the reverse of disconnection.

It depends on the year model of the focus. On some its just a couple of bolts from behind. Others you have to take the entire light fixture out and pull the head light out from there.

You will find two screws on top and one screw at the bottom , remove all the screws on the top and the bottom ,then get the headlamp unit out remove the fused bulb and replace it with a new one and put the unit back and then fix back the removed screws.
