Where bank statements are concerned you need to contact the bank that sent it to you and tell them you are confused and they will walk you through it.

THe bank reconciliation statement should show you what has been posted to your account. You then have to go through your ledger and figure out what transactions you have pending that are not posted to your account and subtract them from the bank balance that the bank has calculated. The statement itself is just a list of transactions.
