How do you make bento lunch boxes?

They were traditionally made with lacquered wood/paper, though current styles are often metal/plastics. A pretty and functional decoupaged bento box could be made by finishing wooden boxes from a craft store, so long as the smaller sizes fit securely into the largest one. Paper-mache finished origami boxes would also work.

Bento lunch boxes contain multiple small compartments to separate the components of the lunch. I think most are made of sealed wood - quite a precise woodworking project.

Find a suitable box - preferably flat and wide. Decorate it if you want, but make sure you use food safe materials. Install plastic divisors if you want, to keep different food items apart. Fill with small foods that you like. Sushi, rice, fruit and vegetables are traditional, but you can use something else if you want.

To make a bento lunch box you can use tubber ware containers that consists of different compartments and decorate the outside of the tubber ware and make it look nice!
