How do you make a white wine spritzer?

I make spritzers by diluting good quality white wine with club soda: two parts wine to one part club soda. I have a friend who adds ice cubes and orange slices to her spritzers but I don't think this is very common. Refreshing on a hot summer day, however!

A white wine spritzer is basically a two parts white wine and one part club soda. Other flavorings can be added for some extra kick!

Take a nice tulip glass and fill it with ice. Fill the glass about three quarters of the way with white wine, chardonnay, chablis or pinot grigio is what I would use. Fill the rest of the glass with sparkling club soda. Give this a stir, do not shake and garnish with either a lemon slice or twist.
