Male skunks are somewhat larger than female skunks. Male skunks range anywhere from 3 to 12 pounds, whereas a female skunk weighs between 2. 5 to 9 pounds. Also, you can tell the difference by sex organs.

Although the appearance of male and female skunks is similar, you can tell the difference by who protects the children. Male skunks generally neglect children because they have multiple mates.

Male skunks are just a little bit larger then female skunks. The sex organs are also different. The male skunk has a visible scrotum. Since skunks are mammals, the female skunks have mammary glands and can produce milk. However, it is possible to milk female skunks. It is not recommended.

Outwardly it is difficult to tell. The male may be somewhat larger and the sexual organs are obviously different. The scrotum is visable but who wants to get that close.

The male is alittle bit bigger than the female skunk and the sex organs are also different. Those are the only differences between them.
