How do you go about connecting the inside wiring to the outside gfci?

The inside wiring that feeds the gfci has 3 wires: line (black), neutral (white) and ground (green / bare copper). The gfci outlet has 4 terminals: line in, line out, neutral and ground. Connect wires to terminals for neutral and ground, then the line wire to line in. Line out can be used to feed and protect other outlets.

You should really hire an electrician for this. Any time you are working with high voltages you should have an expert on site.
