Choose to give your heart to God and trust him to heal it. Break off the relationship politely but firmly, avoid the trap of staying close friends at least at first. Make sure you seek Godly advice before you enter into future relationships

Be honest and tell the other person how you feel. If you're not happy, then the other person won't truly be happy either, and from both points of view that could be seen as selfish and disrespectful of the dating practice. People will understand.

Any dating relationship must be your personal choice and if you are not happy in the relationship then it is best for everyone concerned if you tell the truth about your feelings. You can end the relationship in a kind and caring way, saying that you still appreciate and respect the other person even though romantic love is not possible.

As with any break-up, you should be honest with the other person about your feelings and thoughts concerning your relationship, and just break it off as soon as possible.

As missionaries, no doubt you both want God's will for your lives. The best way is to be honest with each other and explain to your dating partner how you really feel. First really pray about it. You don't want to make a mistake in a lifelong commitment.

If you are referring to a relationship with someone who is sent out on a religious mission, this is the same as terminating a long distance relationship. Call and state that the long distance relationship and waiting is not working, and that you do not want to wait for them to come back.

Missionary dating is almost always unsuccesful. Instead of dating someone who you think you can convert date someone who believes the way you do. End the relationship if it is not woring.

This can be done the same way you get out of any other relationship; be honest with the person and talk to them.
