How do you get a pen pal in a foreign country?

I think that it would be a great educational opportunity for my children to have a pin pal from a different country.

You may contact school districts or individual schools in the countries that you are interested in receiving a pen pal from. You can also visit websites that teachers frequent.

Many people agree with you. the Flat Stanley is one of the oldest pen pal programs, where a paper doll is mailed from place to place and photographed with the child in another country. Round robin programs such as this are often organised through libraries.
