How do you fix a striped bicycle pedal?

MY bicycle pedal is striped.

Repairing stripped threading requires a "die". Go to your local hardware store, show them the part and ask them for a die to repair that sized threading.

You didn't say what was actually wrong with it,but if it is loose, use a screwdriver in the size to fit the screws and tighten it.

Hi, fixing this can be kind of costly it could be the Crank arm that is broke,If its a department store crank you would be better off just replacing the crank.

You should probably go to your local bike shop and either replace the pedal or have them give you the information you need to do it they are usually very helpful in these situations they have a great deal of knowledge.

In principle, pedals are easy to remove - just unscrew them from the crank. But, in practice, the nut on the pedal spindle is impossible to access with ordinary spanners, and the nuts often get very stiff. You may need a special narrow spanner with good leverage, and to spray the thread beforehand with penetrating oil, to remove the pedal.
