How do you fix a propane oven that has a leak?

My camping oven has a leak, I would like to fix it myself prior to our next trip.

My advice is to pay someone to fix the leak. It can be very tricky to fix a leak, especially if you don't know what you are doing.

This is a very serious issue and should not be left unattended. This is also typically an issue you should consult with a professional. Th leak is probably within the gas delivery line and is as simple as replacing your gas line.

There are many troubles but some are below 1:oven knob problem Is that the kind of knob? If so try it on Off ans see if tht cures the problem 2:oven did not set OFF or TO PILOT If it is one of those that has a pilot selection, if it was set on pilot

My first thought was "duct tape" but seriously propane is explosive so you need to know if the leak is from the cap or hose. Check for leaks by covering the cap and hose area with soapy water - turn on stove and check for bubbles - when leak is found, get replacement parts - don't use duct tape!

If you are wanting to repair this leak you will first need to turn the gas off. Next you will need to find the leak and repair this leak in a pipe.
