In the current market you may need to accept an entry job; look for something in your degree's field to gain experience and get a foot in the door.

First, look in the classifieds. If that takes too long for you, then go online and let the right job find you! Just Google(tm) "job search" and click on the sites that offer these services. Typically you will provide them with an email address so that they can update you whenever there is a job matching your qualifications.

You are not alone. Nearly a quarter of people between 18 and 25 are unemployed. The good news is that all signs have been pointing to an economic recovery happening fairly soon. For now, the best thing you can do is talk in person to hiring staff and network through people you know in your field.

The economy is bad at the moment so even people with degrees are having trouble finding work. Your best bet are your connections. Make sure that you have gotten everyone you know, know that you are looking for a job so that they can contact the people they know. Other than that, find jobs on Craiglist and the newspaper.

When applying for a job, do not list your degree. My boyfriend had the same problem. If your degree is a hindrance, don't mention it. Be prepared to account for the time you spent in school, however. A potential employer will notice the gap between high school and job seeking.
