How do you draw the margins in Microsoft Word?

Go to file, page setup or page layout. From there you can adjust the margins. Once you have them at the desired size, press ok to go back to the document.

Just use the diagrams to do that. Best diagam type for margins is the xy diagram. When you select two colums for x and y the diagram will be created automatically.

To draw in the margins in Microsoft Word, you need to go to "insert" and add a header and footer.
