There are agents like acyclovir that will suppress the virus but unfortunately once you have HPV you will have it for the rest of your life. Fortunately, once surpressed your immune system can usually keep it under control and you won't have visible flares.

There is no cure for HPV. Often the infection will clear up on it's own. If it doesn't, then the focus is on treating the symptoms. Symptoms can be genital warts and abnormal cervical cell changes. Your gynecologist can prescribe creams or ointments for any red, itching warts.

You can't cure it per se. However, warts are a manifestation of HPV and can be taken off with cryotherapy. Your body will get rid of the virus in your system. Over 80% of sexually active adults have HPV at any one time and they all clear it from the body on its own.
