You can use the same medicine as women. The infection in men is more localized and easier to treat with a over-the-counter ointment like Monistat. The rash will we localized on the penis. Just use the cream on the inflamed areas. Treat it twice daily and it should clear up in a week.

Actually there is a systemic medicine available by prescription. It's also a really good idea to have it diagnosed by a Health Provider as there are other infections that could mimic a yeast infection. It's also a good idea to find out how to avoid the situation in the future.

Yeast infections in males usually present as a rash on the penis that itches and burns. Male yeast infections are treated with the same medicines used to treat women. Apply an over-the-counter ointment (like Monistat) twice daily. Seek medical attention if the rash persists longer than a week.

Actually, you can use the same medications that women use. Obviously you can't use the suppositories, however the topical anti-fungal creams that are available over the counter are perfectly safe for men to use to treat yeast infections. To treat simply apply the cream to the affected area twice daily for a week.
