Crying out to God is basically saying a fervent prayer, sometimes in the throes of anger or distress, begging for forgiveness, praying for healing, or praying for a person to live when the potential is for them to die. It is intense and fraught with fear, anger and/or frustration.

Just confide to him like you would confide in a friend. Tell him your problems and ask him for peace, forgiveness or anything you want.

You can do a silent cry out in which you ask God to listen and give you answers. You obviously are disturbed about something or feel betrayed and you want to get God's attention. You can also scream.
