Fold the cuff of the pants over itself horizontally, so that the bottom is tight against your ankle, then roll the cuff up a couple of times.

At the very bottom of your pants on one pant leg, you fold them over from one side to the other side. While you hold the fold, you start rolling up the jeans in a thin fold as though you were making high waters. Repeat this on the other leg.

To peg your pants it helps if they are tapered or at least not wide legged. You fold the bottom over until it is snug against your leg and then you roll it up twice.

You can either temporarily create pegged pants by folding over the bottom and then rolling up, or from the knee down turn inside out and pin. Sew the line starting from the existing line so you don't get the fold line as to make it obvious. You start higher than the knee if extra room in the pant allows.

Gather the bottom of your pant leg with a rubber band; or fold the fabric tight around your ankle, like a pleat, then fold the pant leg up.

To make you pants pegged you will take the hem of the pants (while wearing them) and fold it over till it overlaps about half way across your ankle. Once you have it folded over, you will roll the hem up (the folded part) once or twice, to your liking and then your pants will be pegged!

Slowly taper with pins on the wrong side or baste on the wrong side to see what the peg would look like.
